Random Adventures 2009

Our amazing August 2009 Adventures before school started!

We went to Disneyland, California Adventure, Universal Studios, Beverly Hill, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Hollywood Blvd, etc. Any.. and everywhere around L.A. we went.. and loved. Awesome times for my family, and I hope we can do it again soon!

This is a segment that Conor and I worked on.. finally had some time to produce and edit it with Conor's help. :)

2009 What a Year!

This is just a sample of what I've been up to this past year.. at least on Facebook. But this year is a year I'll never forget for sure. Turning 18, first job, Certified CERT member, Senior in High School, and whole lot more. And next year will probably only get better, since I'm graduating and hitting the high road and heading to Italy for a couple months. After traveling and getting that free spirit out of me, I'll be "starting" college at the JC in Folsom (I've already taken some classes there while in High School so it doesn't really count.). So for sure an adventure is ahead and I can't wait to start it!
Hopefully you all had an eventful year as well! Even the smallest change or experience can change your life forever. :)

09.09.09

So! Its the big 09.09.09 day! Just a quick post here, nothing crazy long or boring. Just wanted to know if any of you thought something HORRIBLE was gonna happen.. or something AMAZING was gonna happen! Just wondering.. because I KNOW that whole 2012 loss of electricity/end of world shabam is coming.. so was just wondering if anyone of you out there were maybe thinking... that something insane was going to happen. Might of just been me. Haha, funny.. just KIDDING! Actually I heard a LOT of people were getting married today! Some think its lucky.. others not so much. Man! Remember with 06.06.06 happened? Haha.. haha.. yeaaah.. I'm sure a couple of YOU were thinking something was gonna happen. Kidding! AGAIN! K.. no coffee at 3pm anymore.

ONE final note before I go.. "9" the movie comes out TODAY! Thought you might all jump for joy.. or scream in histerics.. no?.... no tim burton fans? hmm.. okay then! ;)

CERT

So I just joined this class called "CERT" (Community Emergency Response Team) in Folsom! Don't ask why I did it.. haha! I just thought it was high time I gave back to my community and helped out in anyway I can, and also it would look awesome on my resume and transcripts etc.. Haha! So I went to my first class tonight, had no idea what I was getting myself into.. and let me tell you! Its going to be pretty intense! If I pass the first level (8 week course) then if I'm up to it, I could go for level 2 which would make me deployable for any emergencies around the U.S. (haha, I'm just taking it one step at a time for now.). But If I pass the course and make it out alive in the high stress situation course at the end of the class, I will be certified for any emergencies in my community and to help others in need. Tonight was just an over view of what we'll be doing, and I was so excited when I left after class! We'll be learning about EVERYthing and ANYthing about situations where we'll be needed. The class is about 4 hours long per week.. so yeah Its gonna be pretty intense. I met the Fire Chief and Police Chief of Folsom tonight, haha, and they were pretty surprised I wanted to do this at such a young age.. everyone else in the class is older then 28 so.. yeah. Hahaha! Next week we'll be learning how to use different types of equipment, such as fire extinguishers! Haha, and yes, we shall be using real fire to put out! (with fire fighters present) Anyways, just wanted to let you all know about this program! If you want to be more involved in your community, this is great way to start!!

I'll let you know how it goes, and the different stuff we'll be doing along the way!
